Our Mission
Caleb Park Mission is a feeding ministry that endeavors to feed both the body and soul
of those people who are physically and spiritually hungry.
Our current focus is meeting needs in the greater Jacksonville area.
While feeding the body with good, healthy food,
we endeavor to feed the spirit of those we encounter, with the knowledge of the Holy Spirit of God,
so that they can understand what it means to believe in Jesus for saving grace.
Our meeting on every Saturday at 11 o’clock, behind the Waffle House at Hillman and 103rd Street has become the foundation for a neighborhood fellowship of homeless people who want to hear the Word of God read in a community style gathering. It is a place for those homeless people to identify with, and fellowship with, others who follow Christ as they disperse back into the neighborhood. |

We believe that, while feeding the body for a day may help a person feel better that day, feeding the spirit of that person with knowledge of Jesus Christ, through the influence of the Holy Spirit of God, will help them through their life long after we are gone; even into eternity.
Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus answered them and said, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”
John 6:26-29 NKJV
While we are not directly associated with any church, our belief system can best be described with a catechism compiled by Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892) which can be found by clicking this link.
